Structural Wood Products hired Crow Engineering to provide structural engineering design for a custom heavy-timber trellis roof system. Our designers and drafters provided detailed shop drawings for the fabrication of the wood members and connections.
Crow Engineering evaluated light rail substations in and around the City of Portland. Fourteen substations are proposed to be replaced over the course of several years, which need to be replaced with larger structures that will increase interior working space and comply with modern codes. Our input will be used to determine the repair and replacement sequence, and the timetable for all substations associated with this light rail line.

Crow Engineering provided structural engineering and design for the Wheatland Ferry Electrification Project. Both towers that span the Willamette River required a height increase and a new cable support system for the electrification of the ferry. During the project, Crow Engineering oversaw structural support and construction observation.
